Talk to any Fringe Festival fan and you're likely to hear a casino metaphor before long. Kansas City's annual 11-day festival of theater, dance, film and visual art requires a gambler's spirit. Audience members bet blind on brand-new works. They roll the dice every time they buy a ticket for one of hundreds of festival performances.

  2. The Fringe billboard along southwest traffic way is the same picture they have had for the last three years. And what a shocker the image is dumb as fuck. It pretty much says without words Artist = Dumb Bitch. Now granted a lot of female artists in Kansas City are really just dumb bitches, this is obviously the usual propaganda from the elites of making artists look like special needs children. Not to mention that the Fringe Festival collects a bunch of money from all of the desperate artists willing to put forth the cash and then in return does nothing for them. Way to go Fringe Festival - it's local - celebrate the local fail of art! Fringe Fest!!!
