  2. KC needs a lot more coffee shops and craft breweries/bars so that when the creative class denizens, millenial "entrepreneurs", tech wizards inventing must-have apps, "makers" of exciting crafts, and others on-the-make hit their brick walls of reality in a year or so, there'll be plenty of places to work as servers, baristas, and other service jobs.
Hope they all pay at least $15/hour.
Those new "luxury" apartments don't come cheap!

  4. Best coffee place in town is 2 feet from my coffee maker. I don't have to put up with anyone bitching about wages, it doesn't cost me $6.00 a cup and I don't have to deal with some 62 year old, new age, artsy fartsy fat old bitch sitting there snorting and grunting while reading some book authored by Sylvia Brown and Tammie Fae Baker.

  5. Corner Café, Kate's Kitchen, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House; that covers a good cup of coffee in KC.

However, if you want a "Hot Candy Bar In A Cup", head for one of these joints, but better hurry, none of them stay in business very long.
