Kansas City Gas Station Stink Endures

An ongoing East side complaint that's several years running and continues to raise concerns about the health and neighborhood impact. Checkit:

ZACH BAUMAN Tiara Taylor ducks out from behind the counter at Smaxx and slides into a booth. It's just before 5 p.m. on a Thursday - not typically a busy food hour. But restaurants are scarce in the 18th & Vine District, and Smaxxhas been doing brisk business since Taylor and her husband, Brandon Dixon, opened, six months ago.

Of course it smells awful over there. That's where all the black people live. They smell horrible!
