Source: Chiefs to promote Veach to GM spot

The Kansas City Chiefs plan to name Brett Veach as their new general manager, a league source confirmed to ESPN's Field Yates. 1. Smells of a desperation pick. I guess this guy is Andy Reid's yes man. Anyway Chiefs did it again. Sigh, this team has been snakebit since they left the old stadium on Brooklyn Ave and into Arrowhead. Sure, a few happy times in the '90s. But for the most part snakebit.
