  1. Interesting location. I think any police presence there is a good thing.

  2. How many innocent FREE Americans were detained in this trap? How many police officers and support personnel at what cost? How many KC homicides did this deter or prevent? How much money will the raise for the city? How many drunk ass rookie officers got their ass covered by other officers while they were out boozing it up in the northland?

  3. The drunk checkpoints are like drug testing to get and keep employment, and getting screened at the TSA security checkpoints. The intent is to keep people safe from irresponsible and malicious people. An added benefit from these interventions is that doofuses might be kept from endangering their impaired or addicted selves and their own property.

So, too bad the relatively few fuckups inconvenience the majority of regular John and Jane Does on the roads, at the airports, at work, and where the hell ever!

  4. What a huge waste of time and resources. eight arrests out of how many 100's of cars that were stopped?

    Your papers please...

We live in a police state.

  5. How about a gun check point on Prospect?
