  2. Democrats slamming Republicans for their shitty Health Care bill is like Captain Joseph Hazelwood slamming the Environmental Clean Up Crews for doing a shitty job cleaning up the mess from the Exxon Valdez.

"HEY!!! This is huge fuckin mess!! When are you guys gonna get these sea gulls cleaned off!! GODDAMN!!! Look at all these dead fish!! What a fuckin mess!!! Where is my drink?? Anyway, get to work GODDAMNIT!!! This is taking too long and I don't think it is going very well!"

  5. Any chance the assholes in our Congress (on both sides) could get together and figure something out that works for the greater portion of Americans? Certainly there's someone smart enough in the room to lead a bi-partisan effort there? Or will they continue to take the Trump dumpster fire approach of "if Obama did it, we're gonna roll it back"?

  7. When is Jason Pander the famous voter suppression champion going to come home to KCMO and defend the residents against the scam being perpetrated with the latest fake streetcar extension voting "process"?
And does he still write his blood type on the back of his shoes?
    What a phony!

  9. Medical insurance as we know it needs to go away to be replaced by true insurance products not tied to employment. End the tax deduction for medical insurance, use the tax revenue to fund Medicaid. Quit mandating coverages that most people don't need or want. Let doctors practice medicine instead of being clerks.

  11. A little IRL blog math. On the exchange, my family rate is quoted at $950/month minus a $250 subsidy = $750/month. This is for a garbage plan with a $15,000 deductible and 50/50 - yes, really a 50% - payout after that. So, if I have a $150k major medical in December, it is ~$24,000 (deductible and premium) + $67,500 (50% of remainder) = $91,500 for a $150k bill. OR, I don't carry insurance, get $2000 stolen by the fed every year at tax time, and pay cash for Dr. visits etc. That $150k bill gets negotiated down with the hospital to slightly more reasonable costs than $10,000 per hour; let's say $100k.

Bottom line, I'm totally f*%k#d either way. But with the Obamacare, I'm f*%k$d AND still paying $750/month on top of paying off that $91k bill. Where without, I'm just paying off the $100k bill for the next 30 years. OH, and if I'm given a bonus at work of $5,000, the fed takes away any subsidy because my NET is above their poverty line and they snatch $3,000 from me at tax season.

Obamacare was designed to fail, and push lower middle class, like me, into the poverty class where I can shut up and take my medicine. So, f-it, I'm out of that garbage. The repugs aren't looking to solve it either (repeal and major reform of the medical-industrial complex instead).

  13. Here we have Jason Kander with his latest "cutesy" sound-bite.

He stays up all night working on these, in hopes of having his comments picked up by the Liberal Media and garnering more attention for himself.

Jason Kander, the LOSER from Kansas, who pretended to be a multi-generational Missouri resident, who lied about joining the military after 9/11 (he went to law school for 3 years first), who wrote a nasty letter to Chris Koster for joining the Democratic Party, who married a woman from the Soviet Union, who exaggerated his role while briefly in Afghanistan, who lied to Missouri voters about his Secretary of State position, and who has abandoned Missouri residents in pursuit of Hollywood, New York City, and Washington D.C.

  15. Yes, I should have based that on a $200 subsidy, the $250 subsidy was from last year before I got a whopping $1,500 raise.
