Mission Hills council turns to sales tax to tackle capital projects
Trying to avoid delaying upcoming construction projects or cutting back on basic services, the Mission Hills City Council will ask voters in November to increase the citywide sales tax by a quarter cent. Council members voted unanimously July 10 to begin the process of placing the proposed sale tax increase on the Nov.

Even in the supposedly classier suburbs, so-called "convenience stores" are something to be avoided like the plague. Convenience stores are lowlife aggregators. That's who most of the customer base is. If there are scumbags in your hood, that's where you will find them. I won't even buy gas at one ... stray-bullet zone.
