PLATTE CITY, Mo. -- A group of Northland tractor owners hit the road Saturday in the first ever American Legion Tractor Cruise. It's all to benefit veterans struggling with PTSD. A sunny Saturday in Platte Ridge Park. It's the perfect place for quiet a pitstop.

Shooting reported near BP gas station at Linwood and Indiana in KC

Police responded to reports of a shooting Saturday evening near a BP gas station in Kansas City. The shooting was reported about 6:25 p.m. near the station at Linwood Blvd. and Indiana Avenue. One person was reportedly shot. Authorities did not release the extent of the victim's injuries.

Loved ones still seeking justice a year after young father was killed

GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- He was a new father, former college football player and a loving son. Donny Herron, 25, was killed during a home invasion at his home a year ago. On Saturday, family and friends came together for a balloon release. One year later and there has still been no arrests in the case.
