Kansas City intends to raise the event parking price it charges in the city-owned Auditorium Garage under Barney Allis Plaza, starting July 1. The city's Convention Management Advisory Authority on Wednesday recommended an increase in the flat event fee from $8 to $10 for the prime garage serving the Kansas City Convention Center and Municipal Auditorium complex.

And there's be more to spend on services of actual value to the residents if so much weren't thrown away on consultants, big-time dreams, and grandiose legacy projects.
Not enough money coming in; too much being wasted going out.
