A reminder to anybody who linked, blogged or wrote about this one . . . It's low-key, soft sell swill advertising that's not really that cleaver but mostly just sold to compliant local media. Take a look:
'Ribdiculous' American Royal billboard goes up on I-35
It's a bird. It's a plane. Nope, it's a ridiculously big rack of ribs silhouetted against the Kansas City skyline. If you're headed into downtown Kansas City via I-35 on Monday morning, pack a stack of napkins. You'll need them to sop the drool off your dashboard while driving by a billboard featuring the "World's Largest BBQ."
