General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) plans to idle its Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kan., for five weeks - instead of the traditional two-week summer break - to reduce vehicle inventories, according to Vicky Hale, president of the United Auto Workers Local 31.
So who gives a fuck? They will get paid anyway and still be able to afford dope.
ReplyDeleteGM employees will but not the drivers who deliver the parts. This shutdown affects more then GM employees everyone who delivers there gets it worse. We dont get union pay plus unemployment. We get only unemployment which is only 475 a week.

ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that so many people actually get a vehicle that costs $45 to start. Of course they finance it, sometimes for 72 months. I recall when a car loan only ran 2 years. These are more than just transportation to the owners. They are status symbols and proof that anyone can be a road bully.
