A former University of Missouri-Kansas City professor has filed a lawsuit that alleges he was fired for exposing the business school's questionable methods for obtaining high rankings, including inflating data, The Kansas City Star reports. Richard Arend, a tenured professor who was fired in December 2016, named the University of Missouri Board of Curators and former UMKC professor Michael Song as defendants.
