Morton announces plans to retire as UMKC chancellor - Kansas City Business Journal

Leo Morton said Tuesday that he will retire as chancellor of the University of Missouri-Kansas City after one more school year. Morton said he plans to step down in spring 2018. Until then, he said in a letter to the campus, he plans to wrap up a couple of projects, including work on a new Downtown Arts Campus.
