Burns & Mac "stepped up" because that thought they had bought the City Council with $100s of thousands in campaign contributions, not because they are good citizens! Maybe good citizens of Leawwod!

2) Mary Anne Murray Simons has her very best Ruckus appearance ever! I was totally amazed to hear her articulate what has been a rushed Burns and McDonnell proposal that puts them and their attorneys in the driver's seat. She is exactly correct, and called for the city to solicit open transparent competitive bids for any terminal work.
3) Patrick McInerney does a face-plant attempting to serve as Mayor James surrogate once again. McInerney, who once prosecuted corrupt government officials, before switching sides to defend them, was paid out of the Sly James For Mayor campaign funds ($65,000 I believe) when defending Sly James tax non-compliance. McInerney regurgitates the FAILED PREPOSTEROUS notion that a company who presents an unsolicited bid for city construction projects must be granted exclusive no-bid rights. What an embarrassing argument to make!
4) Leave it to Crosby Kemper to disclose the fact that Burns and McDonnell has cultivated a special relationship with Mayor James, whereby they donate money to candidate James, and he grants them special favors.
5) Danedri Herbert dares mention that the proposed Burns McD terminal has FEWER gates than the existing infrastructure. A billion dollars to downsize? Anyone?
There are 3 competent panelists discussing the terminal issue, and then there's McInerney on the other side. Mike Shanin? He's always competent.

Since McInerney broke protocol and made it personal, we'll just note that if he's getting married again, it means he must have blown up his prior marriage! So much for being a good Catholic.
