Missouri House eyeing 20-week abortion ban, 1st-in-nation parental consent provision

Updated 5:15 p.m., May 2, 2017, to correct headline and story that the underlying bill that the amendments are part of has not passed the full House - The Missouri House approved two amendments on Tuesday that would give Missouri a 20-week abortion ban, a first-in-the-nation parental consent for minors provision and a ban on donating fetal tissue for research.

The number of abortions performed last year was the lowest since 1974.

This is an attack on women, launched by misogynists.

Religious freedom means being free from someone else's religion.

If Christian Men are opposed to abortion than they can choose not to have one when they get pregnant, but imposing their beliefs on others is not freedom of any kind.
