Raytown Outrage After Deadly Officer-Involved Shooting Of Alleged Shoplifter

To be fair, Jackson County authorities also claim the suspect assaulted a Sheriff's deputy. Here's the word:

Father of man killed by deputy: "He didn't deserve this"

An autopsy should provide investigators with some answers after an officer-involved shooting killed a man and injured a deputy. Investigators are questioning why 31-year-old Donald Sneed didn't react when they used a Taser on him three times at a Raytown Walmart on Sunday.

  3. If he was turning his life around why didn't he turn himself in with the warrent

  4. he had a robbery warrant. Fought with the cop. shot her in neck with her own taser. Gee I wonder why she didnt just let him take her gun and kill her.

  5. The parents excuses are the exact reason that dud was in that situation. No discipline, no parenting. That dud caused his own loss of life, and while the deputy was totally justified, she may go through life with the burden of taking a life; that's a hard thing to do.

  7. Kudos to the policewoman for ridding us of this piece of shit.
She deserves a medal and a great big raise.

  8. Poor guy. He didn't deserve to die. Why couldn't they just tase him 3 more times and let him live so he could shoot Walmart workers? Let's pray for him and hope his family gets justice.

  10. Problem is you got so many really low-rent people around here, regardless of what color you are talking about. Being in the middle of a notorious low-wage region with shitty weather and shitty culture doesn't help, either. The best people tend to leave, and eventually the dregs achieve critical mass. There ... I just saved you from having to read a whole bunch of sociology and economics books.

I appreciate the huge diversion created by the fiasco at Walmart. While all that shit was going on at the front door my crew was able to walk out of the store with six TV's, a half dozen microwaves, a case of tampons, 5 tires, 48 pairs of socks, seven gallons of paint, a set of luggage, 18 pairs of shoes, 4 sets of cookware, 32 bags of tater chips, 12 mouse traps, 13 premium hams, the garden center cash register, 4 lawn mowers and a wheel barrel.

  13. He's a white piece of shit.He got what was coming to him. Praise the officers that have to work in these times. It's never been quite this bad in the usa until Obama took office. Screw the library's. Justice should rule.

  14. ^^^But Obama is not in office, hasn't been for five months. So I guess if I use your idiotic logic there should be no crime, right dumb-ass??? Hey dingus, I don't remember all of these white guys getting killed on trails while Obama was in office. It's never been so bad for white guys since Trump got in office.

  18. I get so darned tired of hearing families talk about relatives "turning their lives around" and "trying to make decisions". While it's sad that a promising life was lost, making excuses isn't the way to go. The really sad thing is these people always seem to leave kids behind. What chance do they have? Zero....

  19. Tell them their Walmart was going to raise prices 10% if the shoplifter got away and they would be lined up in the parking lot to tackle people, and wondering how much 10% is.

  21. I have never really been proud of living in Mo. After reading these comments it has become more clear why! Every single person who put a negative comment has a family member or friend who has been affected by substance abuse.Does that change the fact they are your brother, sister, parent or friend? Would you say these things about them? His name was Donny and he had 2 kids,a brother, sister, mom, dad and nieces and nephews. Did he make a BAD decision that cost him his life. YES. It does not make him a BAD person that deserves to die! What we as a community should focus on is substance abuse epidemic. Drugs is one of the main causes of crime in our area.focusing on teaching our children that every bad choice has a consequence .You never know how severe it may be until it's too late.
So.... I hope something similar never happens to someone you care about. If it does and people talk about them like you did then you will feel the pain you caused his family and friends by talking the way you have. Karma!

  22. Okay white people you take an L for this one and I'm blaming trump for this . If he had made America great again this upstanding citizen wouldn't have been stealing

  23. You don't even have the Facts of this case so how can you say anything. 8ff he was shoplifting fine arrest him, if she did recognize him as reported she should of waited for backup to arrest him on his warrants for missing his court dates, nobody deserves to die for shoplifting, per your views everything you've seen, heard or read is fact. Bullshit you have no facts. Nor do the parents all we're asking for is the truth. Not saying he was innocent just want the tapes from Walmart, the truth. As any Parent would want. Doesn't matter what Color, what President is in Office.

  24. You are assuming you have the Facts and information about the Victim And Case. The Police never ever contacted the Family. The Family has been told it could be 6 months before they can get the Autopsy report due to this being a Homicide investigation. The Police never notified the Father who lives in Raytown. He had to contact them. Yes, he he did wrong he deserved to be Arrested if the Police Officer recognized him as a wanted Felon she was to call for Backup to Arrest him. From Report's released to News Media there are already different stories by Police. So before you judge Walk in the Shoes of said Family members. Yes, you haven't seen all the cell phone videos taken that night, no your child isn't Dead, so shut up.
