What's comical about this are the KCMO residents who are constantly complaining about the activities of "unelected" panels like the Missouri highway committee or the KCMO Police Board, when the locals ELECTED to represent them, the city council and county legislature come to mind, regularly ignore them in favor of special interests and insiders.
    And apparently, that's just fine, because they keep electing and re-electing the same people or duds just like the incumbents.
    So, since governments at many levels just ignore the public, join the protesters and marchers, make some signs, practice your "hey, hey, ho, ho", and become a member of the "movement".
    You'll increase the estimated crowd size and maybe even get on television.
    And nothing will change.
