UC-B Properties, a Kansas City-based urban-core developer, received a unanimous rezoning recommendation from the City Plan Commission on Tuesday for the city's first all-micro-apartment project. John Hoffman and Lance Carlton, both principals with the firm, said they plan a two-story building including 47 300-square-foot apartments in the 5500 block of Troost Avenue.

The Pittsburg Morning Sun reports that school board members voted Tuesday to accept Amy Robertson's resignation as Pittsburg High School's principal. The main concern stemmed from her receiving her masters and doctoral degrees from Corllins University, an unaccredited, online school.
