UC-B Properties, a Kansas City-based urban-core developer, received a unanimous rezoning recommendation from the City Plan Commission on Tuesday for the city's first all-micro-apartment project. John Hoffman and Lance Carlton, both principals with the firm, said they plan a two-story building including 47 300-square-foot apartments in the 5500 block of Troost Avenue.

The main concern stemmed from her receiving her masters and doctoral degrees from Corllins University, an unaccredited, online school.
