Still, we don't advocate or object to KCMO marijuana indulgence but it's interesting to see people now openly smoking weed in Westport . . . In the grand scheme of things, I guess we can call it progress after the recent weed election win determined the fate of our Democracy.

versus
people of color are routinely murdered every week of the year in the urban core of KCMO/KCKS and a few get a brief candlelight vigil mention on the evening news, but then everybody shrugs their shoulders and carries on.
