Missouri House passes ban on red-light cameras

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) _ The Missouri House has passed a bill to ban cities and counties from using red-light cameras. House members voted 125-30 Monday to send the bill to the Senate. The measure would prohibit the use of cameras to catch traffic violations such as speeding and running red lights.

  3. Missouri residents should call and write their state Senators and the Governor to politely but clearly support the legislation to ban red light cameras. Let the officials know you find the cameras to be unacceptable under all circumstances and you want them banned by law. Contact information:
