Yes, it's another Walmart . . .
Northland neighborhood fighting proposed big-box store
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Every time Bill Johnson leaves his Northland home he passes acres of farmland. Now, he's concerned the land could be turned into a big-box store. Kansas City's City Plan Commission is considering a proposal to re-zone the area, which if recommended and passed by city council, would allow for a big retail store.
Just what KCMO needs to achieve world class status.
ReplyDeleteAnother Wal Mart
So it can poach business from the TIF Walmarts on either side of it.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely horrible idea.
ReplyDeleteStay the fuck out of it and let free enterprise reign. If Walmart wants to invest their money then great. If you don't want to shop there stay the hell out. If you want to bitch about something go take a look at the property the city stole on that Zona crooked Rosa deal.
