Kansas City Checkpoint Checkpoint Count

Local reminder tourism and KCMO entertainment is overrated and mostly an exercise in frustration . . .

Sobriety checkpoint in Kansas City nabs 11 for DUI, two fugitives

Kansas City police, working with the Missouri Highway Patrol, checked 692 cars at Missouri 152 and Green Hills Road.

  1. 852 cars full of citizens inconvenienced for 11 traffic arrests and not a single felon apprehended. Eleven drunks and not a single texting offense (the new highway killers). I'd love to see the figures on that this lame PR stunt cost the taxpayers.

  2. Sounds like a pretty good, well spent night.
