Fariz Turkmani, a Syrian who emigrated to Kansas City in 1979, said he was happy about Trump's move, especially since he hit the air base and not areas where civilians live.

Two Kansas men are accused of shooting and killing a golden eagle. U.S. Attorney Tom Beall said in a news release that Michael Dusin, 22, of Phillipsburg, and Elijah J. Kuhlman, 22, of Sharon Springs, are charged with violating the federal Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.

Garth Brooks has added a seventh show at Kansas City's Sprint Center, concert officials announced Friday. The seventh show is set for May 13 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for that show, along with May 12th's show at 7 p.m. went on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
