An uncomfortable question for this story that deserves a second look . . . Have standards changed and otherwise commonplace corporal punishment discipline from elders are no longer allowed??? OR . . . Is a legacy of the past rightfully recognized as a crime:
Grandmother accused of injuring 5-year-old granddaughter
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A woman is accused of hitting her 5-year-old granddaughter with a belt. Over the weekend Jackson County prosecutors charged Renita Triplett, 42, with one count of child abuse. According to court records, the 5-year-old girl was seen at Children's Mercy Hospital on Sept. 23, 2016 for an eye injury.
Dear black people: you aren't supposed to be a fucking grandparent when you're 38!!! You wonder why you fail. This is high up on the list along with lacking education.
