Let me see here, we have a Chief who has decided to break down the "Blue Wall Of Silence" and one who intends to weed out jerks and racists (and there are many) and turn the KCPD into a professional department. even without other discussions such as his race, these factors alone will give him a whole nest of internal enemies. Not sure why the citizens would have a problem with this man. Name another chief who has done more to get the community involved in our crime problem?? Name one please. Compared to Forte, they've done absolutely zilch except maintain the status quo and keep the Blue Wall standing as strong as ever.

  10. He didn't "hire" her, he placed her in an internal assignment after there was a selection process and she finished dead last. He then lied in his deposition about what he did and now must either change his testimony or lie under oath. Neither option will spare him from being a liar. As far as him getting the "community" involved, yes, he rides his Harley around in the ghetto, in plain clothes, and talks to people. And yes, he takes comp time for every minute of it. Just being black and talking to other black people is not doing anyone but him a bit of good. He's simply pandering to those as ignorant as he is because they don't care about integrity and will support him regardless of what he does. On the other hand, by blaming his own officers for poor community relations, he's done more than any other Chief to promote poor relations between those that matter and the community. Pandering to those being victimized by his incompetence is a great strategy if you can find an entire race stupid enough to fall for it.

    Forte admitted in the deposition he never spoke to any of the candidates other than the female sergeant, looked up performance evaluations or spoke with the candidates' former supervisors.

    As for why Forte didn't take those things into consideration when selecting a candidate for the job, the deposition quotes him as saying, "It wasn't important."

    When the KCPD Chief gives a sworn statement that he did indeed discriminate against all but the female applicant, because he had a predetermined bias to award the position based solely upon gender, the plaintiffs have struck gold with their lawsuit.

    What's surprising is that Forte purposely acted in a discriminatory hiring manner, didn't recognize he was violating the law, and then when called out for the illegal behavior tried to justify it by saying it didn't matter to him to do things the proper way.

    Yep! He's likely on his way out.

  12. Her name is Katherine Kozal. She has been an embarrassment to KCPD for years.

    She is a tobacco chewing bull dyke.

    She was in the Drug Enforcement Unit, but got kicked out for lying.

    I have personally observed her lying to make a drug charge stick, but didn’t dare say anything because she was a “protected class”.

    Ask about her meltdown in 2011 when she marched into the CPD Commanders office and tossed everything off his desk, and threw a chair around after being accused of threatening to frame her ex-girlfriends lover of a crime.

    Fired after that you ask? No, simply transferred to SPD Property Crimes, then promoted to Sergeant, then to K-9.

    She is the epitome of worthless, and has been pushed on down the line.

  17. she does chew. she is gay. not that either of that is important BUT she's definitely protected class. i too had a situation where her integrity was called into question on a felony arrest. the arrest didn't meat probable cause standards. she changed her report so that it did meet the necessary standard. I don't know if she didn't tell me the whole story initially or if she lied in the report. but ever since then I wondered about her truthfulness.
