  1. the comparison is apt.

I'm sure Sly's people trying to make the debate seem otherwise but this is a mayor who has spent on hotels, streetcar and development far more than infrastructure.

    Why would his behavior change?

  2. The streetcar went by my business today and there were giant flames, sparks, and bolts of lightning flying out of the air compressor! I asked Tom Gerend about it and he told me it was "testing" for the 4th of July!

  3. We saw how badly handled things were with Streetcar, Airport, and other issues around future infrastructure. When Sly is gone then a practical budget for getting basic infrastructure improved is appropriate, until then it is just supporting waste and vague bureaucratic notions.

Are the smart grid, or Google, or Entrepreneur hype, or smart city vague
initiatives really benefiting you and an essential use of taxpayer money, no they are not.

Nothing worse than former ambulance chasers pretending to have a vision

  4. I'm sorry, but I can't stand for this insulting comparison. How dare you compare a more or less honest stewbum with the clowns and grifters who infest City Hall? At least the hobo might be honest with you.

  5. What i see dowtown is alot of tax subsidized buliders and buyers that arent contributing any real estate tax revenue. Maybe in 10 to 20 years when their tax abatement status expires they will be contributing. But to me downtown business doesnt look much different.
