Checkit:

Regarding the KCMO Twitter account . . . They post an average of 13 times a day, but today so far is over 50.

It might be nice to see if this volume keeps up--Definitely a sign that they are nervous about the Go Bond campaign.

  1. When Channel 2 was first devised, they had to go through the same thing with strict rules about campaigning and advertisements. You should also look at the city hall "news" show. There have been equal time complaints there as well.

    1. The GO bonds are a NO go. It doesn't matter how much they push them down people's throats.

  2. In the last week, I've received three pieces of propaganda on behalf of the bonds but none from any organization opposing the bonds. Is there any organized opposition out there ?

  4. Enlightened....
If a City employee cannot use the City email system to offer their opinion/narrative on political issues, how is it that City Hall(the mayor) can use social media to offer(push) their narrative on political issues.
Seems like an obvious violation of ethics code to me.
Where's that City Attorney when you need him?

  5. They get away with it by classifying it as Educational Material, not propaganda.
