TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND GEARING UP FOR CITY COUNCIL ELECTION SEASON!!!

Last week we talked about Prez Trump inspiring the GOP to compete for Northland Council spots . . . Not to be outdone, this week a Kansas City labor leader enters the fray.

To wit and just a bit early for the 2019 contest . . .

CITY COUNCIL ELECTION SILLY SEASON IS ALREADY UNDERWAY WITH CONTENDERS ACROSS THE BRIDGE MAKING BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

By way of introduction, here's the word for tonight . . .

Hello my name is Kevin O'Neill and I am announcing that I am running for City Council in the City of Kansas City, MO. 1st District At Large.

The incumbent, Scott Wagner is termed out and can not run again. My background is as Publisher of the Labor Beacon Newspaper for the past 24 years. I have approximately 30,000 subscribers and mail directly to their homes every two weeks. I write about issues that deal with working families and the politics of the city and the state and how those politics affect the working people in our communities.

I come from a great family and have 6 brothers (no sisters) who also happen to be my best friends. I am running because it takes a dedicated councilman to make this community a better place to live. As a father of 5 I know what is important to families. I'm running to talk about all the important issues facing families such as job creation, ending crime and blight in our neighborhoods. I am 60 years old and have spent the majority of my life working to make a difference for the community I live in as well as earn a living to support my family. I am tired of politics as usual and I feel I can make a difference.

I would love to talk to your association at any time you have available. My purpose is to introduce myself and get to know those in the neighborhoods and communities that I am running to serve.

Thank you for taking the time out read this email. I am listing below my phone number and email if you would like to have me come and speak to your association I would love to do that.

Kevin O'Neill

  1. It's all about fundraising. That's the reason behind the early announcements. It'll be a year and a half of hardcore meet and greets along with a lot of small neighborhood meetings. I don't envy these folks. Their work is just getting started.

  11. This guy is for real. He used to help kill CITY HALL proposals that were nothing but ways of taking money from the public. He has had some great people write in the Labor Beacon over the years. Calling him a communist is stupid --check him out.
