KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police and prosecutors from around the metro area are learning Thursday how animal cruelty can be a sign of domestic violence in a household. The Humane Society is teaming up with the Rose Brooks domestic violence shelter to teach officers how dog fighting and other examples of animal cruelty often are linked to more serious felonies.

  1. wait....kansas is doing well? the local newspaper doesn't give that impression.

    condidering the amount of time the newspaper spends criticizing kansas and the paltry coverage of good news, they're off balance.

    i feel like i really learn more about what's going on in kc, both kcmo snd kcks, in the business newspaper cited.

    moreover, the business newspaper usually doesn't have yocals taking up space with hand-me-down news and opinions on national politics.
