KCK man pleads guilty in brutal death of 7-yr-old son, whose remains were found in livestock pen

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The father of a seven-year-old Kansas City, Kan., boy, whose remains were found in a livestock pen around Thanksgiving 2015 pleaded guilty Friday in Wyandotte County to one count of 1st degree murder for the death of his son. Michael Jones, 46, is scheduled to be sentenced on May 3rd.

  4. This is an instance when I think Kansas needs a death penalty. We are gonna take care of this guy the rest of his life, provide him with free medical care, psychiatric counseling, probably education. We have a number of them who should have been given the death penalty, including Dennis Rader, John Robinson, the Carr brothers, and our very own lovely Debra Green. We put down mad dogs and even onery cats. We kill innocent, healthy children just because Mama decides she doesn't want to be pregnant. Why are these guys still living?
