AS OVERLAND PARK BURNS: SHOULD WE BLAME JOHNSON COUNTY INFERNO ON MAN-MADE GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE?!?!?

A hellish scene in Overland Park tragically sets the Kansas City news ablaze this evening.
To wit . . .
OUR BLOG COMMUNITY FEARS THAT TODAY'S EPIC FIRE IN OVERLAND PARK IS A HINT OF GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE FUTURE!!!
Evidence to consider . . .
- Kansas City endured the first February without snow since the 1800s and dry conditions have emerged throughout the metro.
- Wildfires have been raging through Kansas as of late as a symptom of global warming.
- When we talk about water to fight fires . . . Increased consumption and heat are drying up the Kansas Ogallala Aquifer -- The natural resource that makes the suburban good life possible.
And so, while we lament the property damage and danger to our Overland Park neighbors tonight. This EPIC INFERNO could be a sign of the future as MAN-MADE GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE WORSENS despite so-called "Conservative" denials.

Ask Al Gore
ReplyDelete^^^^ Agreed! But only if I can ask him aboard his private jet that he uses to fly to and from speeches on the environment.
DeleteGet real.
DeleteYou want to BLAME somebody?
Try bad planning but Overland Park planners and a lot of shitty, cheap construction. This fire is man made alright but the environment is only part of it.
Is this why Hillary is out of the woods. To blame this one on Trump?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Overland Park Basement savers had to earn their money today. First time in a decade.
ReplyDeletesuch a waste.
ReplyDeleteI guess media will have to find a way to blame it on Brownback.
This is a result of the wood roofs that were installed years ago. Please, please, please use Timberline or some other material. If you have a wood roof, you are just asking for it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a result of OP Fire Dept's inadequate staffing of their fire stations, not climate change.
ReplyDeleteWHAT DOES STUPOR DAVE SAY??? HE'S THE SMARTEST GUY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!
ReplyDeleteThe revenge of Mars because of lack of JoCo sacrifice.
ReplyDelete+1 on the wood roof comment.
ReplyDelete^^^^+1. Wood shake roofs are a disaster waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteMy kickass sources say Jack the Ripper is to blame.
ReplyDeleteCould be Arabs, could be blacks, Mexicans, could be incompetent whites, or could be Jews, but with sickos literally shitting in public over Donald Trump, one can’t help but suspect that if it was done with malicious intent, and if so, it was certainly a member of “Ascendant America.”
ReplyDelete7:40 you're an idiot, Dave's early comment is dead on the money correct. Plus he has the education to make such a statement while you're proof of someone lacking an education.
ReplyDeleteThese tender boxes are going up all over southern Johnson County, in fact a huge almost 100% wood framed hotel at 95th and I-35 is being built right now that will make this fire look like a single candle at one of the many worthless vigils so popular around this area if it ever gets to burning. One building of it will be called the Candlewood Suites. Such a fitting name for a firetrap.
JOCO HOAs which allow only cedar shake roofs. Bless their hearts.
ReplyDeleteThe real comments that aren't trolls are in the right here. Kansas is too try for this easily flammable and CHEAP wood roofing. Time to update, time to change. Time to adapt.
ReplyDelete7:52 PM yea it was burned down as a protest against Trump. Only a shit-for-brains moron or chuck would be dumb enough to post that shit. That's the mindset of right-wind repubtards. They are pathological.
ReplyDeleteThe residents of Johnson County deserve better than this. I hope there is a real investigation of what led up to this. 10 homes burned down is a high cost and I hope this isn't written off as a natural disaster of some kind. That is typical Overland Park. Never taking responsibility for negligence.
ReplyDelete^ "right-wind"? As compared to left-wind Democrats, who blow it out their asses in a different manner?
ReplyDeleteI remember the supporters of wood roofs saying that they "vented" the house in the case of fire. I also remember laughing at that comment. I am very sorry for those folks who lost everything. What a shame.
ReplyDelete10:03PM your mother used to blow it in a different manner.
ReplyDeleteHoly Moses! They just inerviewed someone that lives in the area and he was black as the ace of spades. He was charred far more than the ruins of the blgs.
ReplyDelete10:24PM no Suck, that was you blowing Chuck. You couldn't stop gagging, you incompetent fag.
ReplyDelete11:01-Your mother couldn't stop blowing incompetent fags.
ReplyDelete8:32 Suck - no, momma never blew incompetent fags, including you. They call you the "left wind" Hoover.
ReplyDeleteGet a room, you guys.
ReplyDeleteOr just go away period.
ReplyDelete+1 I agree chuck needs to go away.
ReplyDeleteFor both of you lovebirds, fucking off completely or continuing your love affair privately is a GREAT option.
DeleteIf Suck goes away, the anti-Suck goes away. Simple.
ReplyDeleteYeah, so go ahead and take your little nicknames for each other and go on a honeymoon. For everyone else it's amazingly boring.
