KANSAS CITY COMPANIES TARGETED BY PREZ TRUMP IMMIGRATION CRACKDOWN!!!

We've been talking about the local economic impact of a proposed immigration crackdown and now the local biz community is FINALLY catching on . . .

Checkit:

KC Biz Journal: Here are the KC employers with the most at stake in Trump's visa plans

Deets:

"More than 200 companies throughout the Kansas City area are using the nation's H-1B visa system, a primary source of talent for many of the largest companies in the U.S.

"Although many of those companies use just a few visas, the area's top 11 users hold more than 1,000 between them. North Kansas City-based Cerner Corp. leads the way with 314 certified visas, Overland Park-based Sprint Corp. has 193, and Overland Park-based Black & Veatch has 107."

  1. Here is the problem with the H1B Visa program. The statute clearly requires that visa be issued for workers to fill those positions where NO American worker or talent possess the skills to do the job.

The libtards have repeatedly violated or circumvented the law by having falsified applications for these visas. The purpose of the law is quite clear and similar entry laws are in force in every free country in the world. It is simply a matter where companies are not allowed to hire cheap labor when there are qualified Americans available to do the work. What the libtards have created is a work market where workers are hired for less from overseas and Americans go without. In almost NO cases would America suffer without these visas being issued. Greedy corporations might have to actually pay some of our unemployed, degreed and qualified Americans, but the issue has near never truthfully been about lack of qualified people to get the jobs done.

  4. This is hilarious. Why don't they go to the massive feedlots in Western Kansas? Why don't they hit Tyson Chicken in SW Missouri or NW Arkansas? Because those companies lobby the Republican governments of those states so they can have illegals. Hell, St. Ronald Reagan let them in by the millions as governor of California.

  5. ^^^^^ the last statement is an exaggeration. The Bracero program, until 1964, allowed Mexicans to temporarily come to the U.S. for harvest labor. After Reagan became governor in 1966, Mexicans still came (and many remained) to California, but it was in the hundreds of thousands per year.

Mexican immigration really took off in California and the U.S. after the 1986 Amnesty Law, which then President Reagan later called one of his biggest regrets.
