It's sad that the "rising stars" in the Democratic Party are people who have done poorly at the previous jobs they've held and then failed in a subsequent election.
ReplyDeleteKander's becoming a good example of the old Peter Principle that a person rises to his level of incompetence.
But you also had the mayor of Baltimore who did nothing to provide oversight to the city's police department and then stood by while rioters and looters burned city blocks to the ground. Meanwhile she appeared as "a rising star" each week on national television.
Or Cory Booker who, as mayor of Newark, NJ, blew $100 million from Zuckerberg on the city's school system and left both the district and the city in much worse shape than he found them.
Rising stars, all.
