Craig Glazer - Blue Collar Tour Star: James Johann Back At Stanfords This Weekend
I'm often asked,"Craig who over the years from KC do you think are the best comedy talents?" We have had several come from Stanfords and KC, of course Nikki Glaser, who has her own tv series now, Mike Smith, who is brilliant and needs to move to LA, AJ Finney,constantly on comedy radio and cable. My pal Steve Kramer who had a couple tv shows and is now with Pablo...but maybe one of the most gifted would have to be James Johann. James started at Westport years ago, was discovered by William Morris at a showcase at Overland Park Stanfords by Hooters and then joined the then new Blue Collar Tour with Larry,Foxworthy,Ron White and Bill Engvall.
The managers of that tour decided to put Johann in theaters and stadiums with the Cable Guy and took him off the big tour. That because Johnn had a different manager than the rest of the crew. Johann did a couple years with the Cable Guy, then Foxworthy all over the nation. He landed gigs on CMT and late night tv like Craig Ferguson. The last several years you find James on national radio and Comedy TV as the 'Rural Genius.' He is easily one of the top 5 or 6 comics to come from this area. Oh I forgot to mention Eddie Griffin, another Stanfords guy who went huge.
James is at Stanfords this weekend and I promise he will keep you laughing all night and 'warm'. Stanfords is back at The Legends, Village West next to Dave and Busters.
We keep them coming this winter with podcast great and Jim Jeffries co star, Eddie Ifft next week, then now on a huge roll with his tv series hit 'Still The King,' Kevin Farley, yes brother of Chris. Why would anyone ask an idiot anything, especially you Craig? I mean I understand asking Super Dave something, least you'll get a common sense factual answer and not a pie in the sky I know Joe Blow, therefore I know the answer as your famous for.

Craig might not know how to pick football games, buy a decent wig, or run a club that doesn't pick up and move every year but he has a pretty good lineup coming up for a usually dead wintertime.

I have been to Glazer's clubs several times, all nice, always fun and yeah he's a nice looking fucker no doubt. So yeah I agree they are jealous of him like you say. I understand. Don't know him, but he seems a cool dude and funnier than hell on radio.
