ReplyDeleteRead much? The article said that the reason for the closing is real estate contract negotiations failed. That must mean the rent is going up to where is either unaffordable or does not make business sense to continue in the lease. Nobody wants to be gouged nor is that an affordable business model. How did you reach the conclusion that race had anything to do with the sudden closure? Their lease is up. Closing on Tuesday is effectively the end of the month. If any race of people is involved its Whites and their greed that's the cause of this sudden closure.
Who can compete with Eddie V's? Hope all Houstons emps get jobs that pay as well.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it closing because of the streetcar. That's the only reason businesses ever close but it's never, ever, ever the reason they open, and it never helps them no matter what most actual business owners say. There are several internet howlers from the Northland to prove it!
