EMBATTLED COUNCILMAN CHRIS MORENO RAGES AGAINST SLEAZE SUMMIT 'GOOD OLD BOYS' NETWORK VIA PODCAST!!!

A civic affairs podcaster visits a city council meeting so we don't have to . . . Here's the damage and latest update on part of an ongoing blood feud in the suburbs . . .

"Lee’s Summit city council meetings have been extremely contentious over the past eight months. Two council members have even called on each other to resign. One of them, Chris Moreno, is facing a recall election because some people are unhappy with his conduct at council meetings. But he remains steadfast. He talks here about his preparation for council meetings and how he deals with the criticism."

  9. Ah, the “Good Old Boys” rhetoric, it never gets old. It’s as if nobody knows how to google and find more than a decade of Chris Moreno being a “politico” working for Governor Nixon, campaigning for multiple representative seats, and lobbying in Jeff City. Every instance above is covered with sleaze. He was fired by Nixon, stole opponents domain and ran as a democrat in this era, and was caught buying votes as a lobbyist. This recall might save him from jail time from what I'm finding.

  10. It will be humiliating for these people when Chris Moreno wins.

  11. It's "humiliating" he was elected at all.
