Despite steadily increasing traffic and new airlines coming aboard the CONVENIENT MCI airport, holiday season crowds didn't overwhelm the current configuration for air travel in Kansas City.
Here's the word . . .
Fox4: Thousands of travelers head home, many delighted lines at KCI ran smoothly
Here's the money line . . .
"The line at Starbucks was often longer than the line to get through security, which came as a relief for travelers anticipating extra-long lines."
Translation . . .
THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY IS ONCE AGAIN PROVEN CORRECT AS KCI COPES WITH CROWDS BETTER THAN NEWLY DESIGNED TERMINALS!!!
Better still, we see that Mayor's Sly army of consultants isn't very committed to constantly bashing the airport online and they didn't want to work during the holiday season.
Finally . . . The Starbucks line was totally worth it given the new holiday drink menu.
You decide . . .
No jon stevies and his Twitter hate?
ReplyDeleteGuess not, maybe too much holiday cheer?
I guess Jolie Justus was too busy on her latest junket.
Make KC great again. Keep the airport.
I thought we were supposed to take a pause on the airport. What happened to that promise?
DeleteNever trust a man named Sly.
DeleteThe airport is just another con job.
ReplyDeleteThere never was a problem with the airport, just a bunch of suckers wanting to get paid and working in order to create a crisis. If we spend this money then look forward to nothing but continued spending that eventually is going to bankrupt this city.
ReplyDeleteBe careful KCMO. Your leaders are laying.
They're laying, huh? When do you think they'll be up?
DeleteSometimes when I fly into KCI I see many humans sleeping in seating areas. Trying their best to catch a nap and pass some time before their flights. Then I see a nigger buck. It's in a fancy leather massage chair. The kind that you swipe your credit card and get a massage in. Only this nigger obviously didn't pay for a massage. This nigger was deep asleep and had no qualms taking up the chair and blocking any chance of business for whoever owned the massage chair. It felt entitled to a better chair than any of the humans that used the airport provided seating. I feel sorry for the next human that uses the massage chair. They will think they are treating themselves to some well deserved relaxation when really they are seating themselves in a nigger nest.
the smell of $100 -$200 million in construction profits is what is impelling a group to demand a new airport.
ReplyDeleteThe airport is just another chance for the lawyer hogs to eat at the trough. Corporate welfare is killing Kansas City. This is just another nail in the coffin.
ReplyDelete926,293 passengers used KCI just last month
ReplyDeleteThe people who want a new airport are really just looking for another check.
926,293 passengers used KCI just last month? Streetcar has that beat, the trolley folks claim they have that many passengers a day!
ReplyDeleteS A V E K C I !
ReplyDeleteSave passenger convenience!
Demand a vote before building.
Charter government at its finest.
ReplyDeleteTV5's Betsy did some honest reporting live at MCI (KCI, whatever). Quotes from all who were asked had no complaints about wait times. One comment was to add more eats choices. Yet another no need to fix what ain't broke theme. Renovation to major needs suffices. A rebuild of a configuration not optimum for passenger efficiency, and burdened by big debt is not wise.
