ReplyDeleteThe City should not be allowed to bill for anything for any purpose until property owners have requested service. That needs to change immediately.
ReplyDeleteThis is what the 12 million$ and the Chicago firm did. Brains at their best. Fire Leeds.
ReplyDeleteThe bill is for storm water runoff and is based on how much of the property does not absorb rainwater. Vacant land is subject to the billing even without water service. Just another benefit of living in such a great city.
ReplyDeleteStorm water runoff charges are supposed to be based on the volume flowing into the storm sewers. Many KC storm water charges are for properties that are not on streets with storm sewers. Thus, another huge ripoff of residents.
ReplyDeleteIn other words; When is a tax not a tax?
ReplyDeleteJust another way by this shit hole city to rip you off
