KANSAS CITY ELECTION 2016 RUCKUS TONIGHT!!! YAEL ABOUHALKAH RETURNS AFTER KANSAS CITY STAR DISMISSAL!!!
Yael Abouhalkah declined to participate in Kansas City's top political discussion when they changed the format, involved a few new people and new guests started questioning his opinions.
Now that he's no longer a newspaper man and now just another local blogger . . . He makes a welcomed return appearance to this GOLD STANDARD of local political discourse.
Check the description:
"Mike Shanin interviews Yael Abouhalkah about his departure from the Kansas City Star and his new blog Yael on the Trail. Then Crosby Kemper III, Jamekia Kendrix, Steve Rose and Jon Stephens discuss the implications of the American Royal's move to Wyandotte County, Southwest Airline's push for a single terminal KCI and the latest developments in next week's biggest election races."
Take a look:
You decide . . .
Classy move from Shannin here. Yael wasn't so kind when he quit and made a lot of disparaging remarks about the direction of the show.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Mike is more than forgiving when he offered Yael a new spot to promote his blog. That's truly a kind gesture and shows that Mr. Shannin is really a quality individual. Most media people would not be so forgiving. It's nice to see that sometimes colleagues can work to help one another even if they sometimes disagree.
Public affairs programming is nice TKC, but take it up a notch.
ReplyDeleteWe need mud wrestling debates where big boobed women decide the fate of our elections. That's the future of Democracy in the US and KCMo.
Believe it and be ready.
This panel is fine and dandy, but I'm still voting for Johnson!
ReplyDeleteBetter headline: small town talent pool gets even thinner.
ReplyDelete2106? That's a long time from now
ReplyDeleteWhat is Yael's blog. I think I might read it. Will he let me talk about how much I want to fudge in the butt and come all over the face?
ReplyDeleteGood riddance Yael.
ReplyDeleteStephens is a worthless cheerleader!!
ReplyDeleteTheir election calls are almost all worthless. Mostly Hillary Clinton Cheerleaders here.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame.
Yael's blog, will no doubt, be a continuation of the Progressive Narrative, which, has promised we could keep our doctors, health plans, savings, disposable income and dignity, while we kneeled on and paid homage to diversity, multiculturalism and the panoply of failed, expensive, pernicious initiatives that suck the life out of that middle class golden goose, now, moribund in the face of those same initiatives.
ReplyDeleteBest scenario, those "salad days" at the K C RED Star, will provide Yael some perspective outside of the echo chamber he toiled in, for so many years.
I wish him the best. It is my fervent hope, however, that, his retirement from the Star, which now, no doubt, renders him pecuniarily insouciant by way of those most fortunate of contretempts (THE CITY PAYS YOUR FUCKIN TAXES) soon sees senescence.
Then, let him suffer some slings and arrows, from the Progressive Cathedral where he served as an acolyte, a shoulder soldier, an apparatchik for those, economically and socially retarded priests who sanctimoniously ridiculed those makers, who supported the "VOTE FOR A LIVING TAKERS" who now, destroy our nation.
Come on in Yael, the water is, in no way "fine" but poisonous and cold.
Let us all hope, that the Star's retirement plan, for our new friend, runs out of money, as fast as Obama Care. That the lies and corruption, endemic in our federal and local government that Yale has excused and encouraged, affect him, affect his family, affect his life, affect his income, affect his social status and cowers him, intimidates him, threatens him, diminishes him in the same way, it affected and diminished so many who disagreed with the Progressive Narrative.
ReplyDeleteLet us all hope, that now, finally, Yael, returned to "civilian" status can actually see the destruction, dystopia and dysfunction that is undeniably the result of his support for the Liberal insanity that corrupts our country.
Well said.
DeleteThe YEAL BITCH hopefully is in West Africa shaggy dog the Sheep tonight and humping in West Virginia with the other hill Bill
ReplyDeleteThe only sensible thing is for the KC Star to hire Craig Glazer to write opinion pieces.
ReplyDeleteAccustomed to passive, unthinking obedience, Yael, like the Party Establishments are recoiling in enraged horror that the little people are refusing to follow their orders.
ReplyDeleteOk, so I had to check out Yael's blog and see how popular his site is, given that he must have thousands of followers after writing for decades at the liberal KC Star.
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting to find an open discourse of opinions, with lots of comments debating the issues.
UH OH!!!!
Scrolling through his posts and checking the comments left by readers, I see very little activity, and lots of spam.
Of Yael's last 10 postings, there are NO COMMENTS from readers!
Number 11 = 1 real comment

Perhaps this paltry response gives us a clue as to why the KC Star Editorial Board dumped the liberals, and is moving more moderate/right.
I see a black person. So Mo Rage the Coward isn't depressed this week?
ReplyDelete11:21 - Nice work. But I think you're underestimating the interest in Yael's gardening work. I think some people are really interested in his new career path.
ReplyDeleteBring back Nadler!
ReplyDeleteWont be long until Union Mission opens up a satellite soup kitchen for public broadcasting stations
ReplyDelete2:35: Maybe they could dig him up, but he probably wouldn't say much.
ReplyDeleteWhat was that? If that didn't put the fear of God in you....what underlying story isn't told yet said blatantly. Can I get a witness for the defense? Guilty, as charged. Grace. Civility. Dope. Great tv. I can't handle the truth. I humbly beg forgiveness and want the hell out of this mess. Great show. See you guys next week. It gets better and better. Good luck with your new show Crosby. It will be a hit. Good stuff Mike.
