Jackson County COMBAT Tax Renewed Amid Record Setting Kansas City Crime Wave

Amid a bloody year when the Kansas City, Missouri homicide rate is at a nearly 10-year-high for this time on the calendar . . . The voters of Jackson County approved the longstanding anti-crime COMBAT tax which is more of social safety net for just about every activist and out of work politico in the metro area.

The final tally:

75% Yes
25% No

And don't forget the tax had another two years to pass if voters wouldn't have pushed it through this time around.
