Somewhere in this sordid state of affairs there's hope for all divorced dads who have been tagged as merely "sperm donors" and a reminder to go through "official" channels for this kind of thing and not the "home brew" route . . . ReplyDeleteTurkey baster.
ReplyDeleteTaking responsibility for their own actions is SOP for people today.
ReplyDeletePretty much given up on the human race.
I agree with the outcome here. It's one thing to be in a situation where you have to have artificial procedures to have children. The couple knew what they were in for when they elected that procedure. It's not the sperm donor's fault that their happy ending wasn't. Another case of White people not taking responsibility for their own actions. You want to be gay? Just know that gay people cannot reproduce naturally. This is about personal choice and personal responsibility.
ReplyDeleteAs I recall, it was the state's medicaid administrators who were trying to get the child support, as partial reimbursement of the money they had to spend on the child's deadbeat lesbian mother.
ReplyDeleteSurprised Kansas hasn't delt with this before. You don't meet someone down at the marina and grab a sample of sperm put in an ice cube like you're breeding with Ted Bundy.
ReplyDeleteWhere do I get my refund?
ReplyDeletehuman nature is a powerful force.
ReplyDeletethe guy may have regrets some day.
