A silent and mostly empty symbol continues to dominate the concerns of the middle-class whilst the nation is pretty much in agreement about shipping out all the undocumented immigrants. Take a look: ACLU urges Shawnee Mission Schools to allow teachers to wear safety pins as statement in class

These pins are a political statement and as such are no more protected than an NRA button or even a KKK t-shirt. The schools realize how disruptive political statements can be and have rightly decided not to allow them.
ReplyDeleteSafety Pins are to hold up diapers. Only babies need them.
ReplyDeleteACLU now is no more than a Democratic Party front group. Ignore their thoroughly politicized demands.
ReplyDeleteSure you can wear safety pins - as soon as half the town can march up and down the halls with Confederate flags just to shove your free expression right up your arse. There is a place for everything. Craming your beliefs down a student's throat at school isn't the time or place for your shitty little protest. Merely by your position as educators childen are influence by your demonstrations of YOUR values. Keep your bullshit out of the schools and FUCK the ACLU. Try working in the real world and pulling this kind of bullshit.
ReplyDeletereally it's abusing the kids to make the atmosphere so politicized by adults who have control over the kids.
ReplyDeleteWhere was the outrage when schools banned American flag t shirts or flags on students cars? Go back to your safe spaces snowflakes
ReplyDelete^^^ that never happened.
ReplyDeleteStudents weren't allowed to wear shirts with US flags on May 5th (Cinco de Mayo.)
