TONY'S KANSAS CITY REQUEST FOR COMMENT: WHY SHOULD MISSOURI VOTERS SUPPORT JASON KANDER WHEN HIS SENATE CAMPAIGN STARTED WITH A LIE?!?

I don't believe in Karma.

The Karmic spiritual principle of cause and effect speaks to an inherent sense of justice which resides in the hearts of most people but the reality is that the innocent are killed every day and even babies are regularly slaughtered or often succumb to disease as the uncaring Universe offers no explanation and humanity remains mostly unconcerned.

Meanwhile, Americans abandoned all faith in political honesty long ago and elections are nothing more than real time applications of demographic market research powered by corporations and special interests.

On the bright side, there nothing like watching a series of human Punch & Judy shows as a paltry justification for sending young people to die in foreign lands in order to steal secure precious natural resources and protect the interests of bankers, CEOS and all the d-bags with enough money to buy the gold Apple Watch.

Don't get it twisted, I'm still grateful for all of the freedom that this great nation provides as the world fearfully awaits the upcoming era of Chinese hegemony.

But I digress . . .

Here's the point . . .

JASON KANDER'S SENATE REFORMER CAMPAIGN WAS FOUNDED ON THE LIE THAT HE WAS COMMITTED TO STATEWIDE OFFICE WHEN, IN FACT, HIS SECSTATE JOB NOW SEEMS LIKE NOTHING BUT A CYNICAL PLOY IN HIS QUEST FOR HIGHER OFFICE!!!

Here's the proof by way of an on-the-record quote to The Missouri Times and their courage in keeping the story online:

Jason Kander says he is running for reelection in 2016: “I ran for secretary of state because I want to be secretary of state,” he said. “This is a great job and I hope people in a few years let me continue it. I’m doing everything I can to do this job as well as I possibly can.”

Accordingly . . .

Like it or not, and with as much disrespect as possible toward the current state of American Democracy: After all is said and done, I'd like to contend that NOTHING GOOD CAN EVER COME FROM A LIE and Jason Kander's Senate campaign will be forever tarnished unless somebody, anybody sincerely explains the deception.

Moreover . . .

The fact is, I respect Missouri Secretary Of State Jason Kander more than any other elected official currently holding office. He is a student of the law, a dedicated, young family man, a solider who put his life on the line for his country and a brilliant yet humble public servant. He has the potential to be one of the greatest leaders this nation has ever seen and his commitment to this country and his principals is unmatched.

Yet Jason Kander's path to champion reform, honesty and integrity in our nation's capital have been betrayed by the lie at the start of this journey to Washington D.C. His challenger is far too tainted by a career of compromises to question the honesty of an opponent. And so it falls to his supporters to demand an explanation of this untruth that has discredited the Kander for Senate campaign at its core.

So, here's what we're gonna do . . .

IN ALL HONESTY, AN ANSWER TO WHY VOTERS SHOULD SUPPORT KANDER DESPITE A PROVEN LIE THAT STARTED HIS CAMPAIGN WOULD BE A BLESSING AND A SERVICE TO THIS TRAGIC ELECTION SEASON. WE'LL POST THE BEST EXPLANATION OFFERED!!!

This call for comment is, obviously, open to every perspective and all participants. While this question has been posed as a partisan talking point by some critics, given that TKC does not make election endorsements, we offer this discussion merely as part of our ongoing mission to garner relevant information and share it with voters.

You decide . . .

  1. Is this an "aspirational" request for comment?

    hard to tell.

    You are being naive.

  2. How come all the polls come from either students or off record sources?

I'm surprised that Blunt hasn't offered any of his own polling information.

It all seems like something out of a bad movie. And I'm disappointed there was only one debate with barely any questions.

  3. I think there will be more Trump/Kander voters than most people imagine. We need to change the status quo.

  4. I was undecided until Liz "climate change is our fault" Warren showed her pinko face in my city. I am going 3rd party, Blunt and his family are too fat and happy so I cannot vote for him and his Katylan Jenner look a like wife. Fuck both of them.

    Go Trump!

  5. But what about the fact that he can assemble an AR-15 just like he was trained to do? Surely he can walk around the Senate doing "Show & Tell" until Hillary takes his assault rifle away.

  6. Look, you don't have to go sit under the Bodhi Tree, but if you are only able to see the world through a "Dualistic" lens, you will constantly confused by what MUST be an indifferent god.

Now go back the Pander to Kander shit.

Another Liberal who thinks Obama Care is a Health Care panacea for us all.

  11. Apparently- did Sanchez protest and is not at homecoming in Maryville because of her ultra liberal views that clash with her peers who have real jobs? Did the star side with conservatives to force sanchez' resignation? Will Vince Fosterbe a factor in sending Hillary to prison? Will the former editor of the star Mia-somethingorother have egg on her face after endorsing soon to be imprisoned Clinton? will the star release more employees as they have no idea how to compete effectively in the free news market? Long live president Trump as he finally shores up what's left of the corrupt Clintons. God help us if Obama pardons Hillary before she is sent to the slammer...

  12. Let's also ask who's lives he saved as stated in a Kander commercial. And if true where's his combat action ribbon. 4 months safely behind the wire the majority of the time is hardly not close to the hero that my brother Marines were.

  13. Jason Kander is the lesser of two evils. Therefore, he will get my vote.

  14. Blunt's insertion of the Phillip Morris business into a bipartisan bill following 911 says it all for me. Few things are as insidious as the peddling of cancer by the tobacco industry. Willfully becoming their handmaiden, and profiting from the illnesses and deaths of millions of people addicted to this poison, puts him in a class far worse than corrupt. And if Kander had the courage and character to join and serve in a combat zone after 911, that's stark contrast to chicken hawks of either party who talk tough but neither serve nor encourage their sons and daughters to serve. That points to at least the possibility that Kander might actually clean up the filthy pack of perverts and ignoramuses that Missourians keep sending to our capitol.

Whaa! He promised he wouldn't run

He didn't change his mind, he LIED!

If you want the Republicans to control the Senate, then vote for Blount. If you want the Democrats to control the Senate, then vote for Kander. I know that you're supposed to be choosing between two men, & weighing their different attributes, but that is naïve, & short sighted. This is the function of the primaries. In the general election you are deciding which political party controls the United States Senate. The attributes of the two men at this point are irrelevant, since both parties have no choice but to vote in the Senate as a bloc.

At this point you are not choosing between Kander & Blount, you are choosing between Democrat & Republican.

  16. Kander has my vote--he's the superior candidate, no matter what the KC STAR publisher says.

  17. Kander deserves our vote because he is not Roy Blunt, who has promised to block any Supreme Court nominee Clinton sends to the Senate. Kander will at least do his job.

  20. TKC IS CORRECT TO POINT OUT THE KANDER GENESIS IN A LIE

So much of what Kander says publicly about himself is a lie:

Lied about wishing to remain Secretary of State.
Lied about being a 5th generation Missourian.
Lied about the timing of his military service.
Lied about his wife not being a lobbyist.

Kander has campaign paperwork on file in Missouri stating his intention to run for Governor in 2024.

Kander has taken more money from lawyers/lobbyists than Senator Blunt has in this race.

Kander was born in Kansas, grew up in Overland Park, graduated high school in Kansas, went to college in Washington, D.C., went to law school in Washington, D.C., got married in Kansas, voted in Kansas.

One of Kander's biggest lies, besides claiming he's a native Missourian, involves his distorted military service record. Since he moved to Missouri to begin a lifetime political career, Kander has told the story about how following September 11, 2001 he joined the military and served in Afghanistan. He always implies that shortly after the attack on 9/11, his patriotism led him to volunteer for military service.

He's recently altered his Wikipedia page, and been forced to clarify his service records. Here's what we believe to be true:
On 9/11, Kander was in college, and remained in college through graduation.
Approximately 1 year after 9/11, after starting law school, Kander joined the Army ROTC.
In 2005, after completing 3 years of law school in Washington, D.C., Kander was commissioned in the Army Reserve.
In October 2006, Kander deployed to Afghanistan doing financial corruption work.
In February 2007, after 4 months overseas, Kander returned to the U.S.

We'll always applaud Kander for his service in the Reserves, but continue to point out his long-standing tendency to inflate his role, to stretch the truth concerning the timing of his service, and to willfully use his service as a means to further his political ambitions.

  21. Whats his opinion on hot tight Strange pussy?

    ReplyDelete
  22. He was for it before he was against it! The pussy that is

    ReplyDelete
  23. He can disassemble his own pussy with a blindfold on, but he'd love to see Roy Blunt do that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. his opinion on pussy, you ask? He likes his pussy, just hates trimming it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. why did the liberal newspaper endorse blunt?

    there must be a reason.

  26. "We'll always applaud Kander for his service in the Reserves, but continue to point out his long-standing tendency to inflate his role, to stretch the truth concerning the timing of his service, and to willfully use his service as a means to further his political ambitions."

Kander served when he wasn't required to; Blunt received questionable deferrals at a time when every male was subject to the draft and we were in a war. Blunt would use his service as a means to further his political ambitions if he had any to use.
