KANSAS CITY BISHOP REMINDS CATHOLIC VOTERS THAT THEY MUST OPPOSE 'INTRINSICALLY EVIL ACTS' THIS ELECTION!!!
The Kansas City Catholic hierarchy isn't backing down from from their bully pulpit as we slouch toward election day.
Remember that earlier last week Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City, Kansas condemned Hillary Clinton VP candidate Tim Kaine as a "Cafeteria Catholic" and challenged his shaky divergence betwixt public office and professed private beliefs.
And on this Sunday . . .
KANSAS CITY BISHOP JAMES V. JOHNSTON CONTINUES TO OFFER CATHOLIC VOTERS GUIDANCE ON RECONCILING THEIR FAITH WITH DECISIONS AT THE BALLOT BOX!!!
Here's the word . . .
Bishop James V. Johnston: Some actions are what the Church calls “intrinsically evil acts.” It is important to understand this term. It does not mean that the people who do them are intrinsically evil. It means that these acts are never morally good no matter the circumstances. We should never approve, perform or support these actions. Among these actions are abortion, euthanasia, embryo-destructive research, acts of racism, and same-sex “marriage”.
There's no outright endorsement here but instead a well documented prompting about the Conservative doctrine of the Catholic Church for the faithful to consider this election season.
You decide . . .
So catholics do not support the law of the land in the United states?
ReplyDeleteDoes that make them traitors?
Here's the translation, so you don't miss the point TKC:
ReplyDeleteYou cannot be pro-choice and call yourself a Catholic. You cannot vote for Hillary and call yourself a practicing Catholic.
558 the law of the land used to be slavery
ReplyDeleteWere they not supposed to oppose that?
So I guess Catholics are not supposed to vote?
ReplyDeleteDidn't Trump say the Church was rigged?
ReplyDeleteJesus was low energy.
ReplyDeleteJesus took a little fish and some bread and turned it into something really fishy.
ReplyDeleteI'll never understand people that vote solely based on social issues. You can't eat your bible.
ReplyDeleteTony, you left out the WikiLeaks emails that showed that Hillary's inner circle denigrated Catholics. That, more than the other things you cited, may impact the Presidential choice of Catholics.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Those POOR Catholics! They are SOOO persecuted!
ReplyDeleteThat must be why they had that $250,000/plate dinner at a swanky hotel in New York City last week, that even they admitted is a collection of the plutocracy of the country. It is called a "show of power" but was disguised as a "charity" event.
Funny how I didn't see anyone sitting on the dais, who hadn't had a meal in a few days, couldn't pay their rent, had just been paroled from prison, or was a single mother with the child that she didn't abort.
Looked like that Cardinal was kissing rich ass on both sides of him
^^^ Real Talk. The Bishop needs to work his own program. He got plenty of prob's to focus on,like rooting out robed rump wrangler's
ReplyDeleteKindly mind ya bidness,Bishop..you in the wrong lane.
The patriarchs have decided that it is wrong for a woman to have an abortion.
ReplyDeleteI have decided that it is wrong for men to tell women what they can do with their own bodies.
I don't want the laws of my country based on these lies.
There is no god; grow up.
who cares what you want, PUNK !
DeleteMaybe certain laws are not fair and balanced. A woman can choose to end pregnancy when she doesn't want a child. Shouldn't a man get a choice when he decides he doesn't want a baby. Ya know, like, ABORT SUPPORT payments. Hmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteThis mom/grandma decides to RESPECT LIFE.
Nobody listens to these idiots. Not even Catholics. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteRemember the Catholic bishops motto...with little boys you don't need birth control!
ReplyDelete^^^ Ouch!
ReplyDeleteGoddamned fag priests..... Most all of them are fags and all of them are money-grubbing, thieves.
