COWTOWN CURSE: DID KANSAS CITY RALLY WITH ULTRA-LIBERAL ELIZABETH WARREN KILL JASON KANDER'S CHANCES OF WINNING OVER CONSERVATIVE RURAL MISSOURI IN CLOSE SENATE RACE?!?!

Despite his efforts to move away and distance himself from Kansas City, a recent cowtown Democratic Rally could threaten to stop Jason Kander's meteoric rise to power in a close race for the U.S. Senate.

To wit . . .

OVERWHELMING DEMOCRATIC PARTY SUPPORT IN KANSAS CITY THREATENS JASON KANDER IN THE LONG RUN GIVEN GOP CRITICS ACROSS THE STATE CLOWNING HIS EMBRACE OF A FIERCE LIBERAL!!!

As always, Kansas City media keeps locals stupid when it comes to Red State controversy . . .

This town was only fed the upside of a recent event . . .

1,000 Turn Out For Missouri Senate Rally With Sen. Elizabeth Warren

Sounds nice, right?

Well, here's the word that's circulating among the GOP majority throughout the state . . .

Partisan, ‘Rock-Throwing’ Liberal Elizabeth Warren Campaigns for Jason Kander

Money line . . .

"Politician Jason Kander’s partisan tone and liberal voting record have attracted the most extreme elements of the professional left to his campaign, and now the liberals’ standard-bearer joins Kander’s crusade for higher taxes, more ObamaCare and amnesty for illegal immigrants. Liberal U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, known for her “angry, sarcastic” tone campaigned with Kander in Kansas City, proving once again that Kander’s votes, views and values are totally out of touch with Missouri families.

“Rich Chrismer, a communications advisor to the Missouri Republican Party: “Elizabeth Warren isn’t the first Washington liberal to campaign for Jason Kander, but she is one of the most extreme and radical. Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer are supporting Jason Kander because they know he would be a reliable rubberstamp vote for their liberal agenda, even when that agenda is at odds with Missouri views and values . . ."

In fairness, most everybody in Kansas City across party lines wants MO SecState Jason Kander to win. In this town, the argument of the upstart young man facing the old school D.C. insider has been completely successful on both sides of the aisle.

But that's the problem and one of the inherent contradictions of life in Kansas City . . . Local logic doesn't extend far outside city limits.

LIKE IT OR NOT . . . KANDER'S CHANCES HINGE ON WINNING OVER MISSOURI'S CONSERVATIVE GOP VOTERS AND THE KANSAS CITY LIBERAL CELEBRATION CLEARLY DAMAGED THE PROGRESS OF THIS CRUCIAL CAMPAIGN STRATEGY!!!

And so, while Kansas City crowds cheered their all-time favorite politico of the past decade, the outpouring of support threatens to cost Kander the election in yet another Kansas City jinx for successful people trying to escape the mediocrity of this dreadful little town.

You decide . . .

  7. Pretty sure Kander's biggest demographic of support is DC and Hollywood liberals. Can they vault him to the Senate though? Probably not. I'm with MOGOP. He's too liberal for Missouri, no matter how many Lego(tm) sets he puts together.

"some insider who doesn't care about KC"

didn't you just describe Kander? At least ol' Roy stops by to visit. Kander took off for Columbia as soon as he could. Guess he didn't like KC after moving here from Kansas a year before running for office for the first time.

  11. So, exactly what about Sen. Warren do rural conservatives find most offensive? The fact that she supports laws to keep banks from defrauding them? Are there many rural Missouri Wall Street billionaires afraid of being taxed as high as their secretaries?

In 1861, a bunch of Southern Billionaire slaveholders convinced rural white guys (who couldn't afford shoes, let alone a slave) to go charge cannons to protect the right to OWN people -- despite the fact that slave labor actually undercut the wages of those same free white folk! How many generations will it take to convince these guys that the only thing that the rich and corporate want to do for them is take their money?

  17. Uh, no. The goal is to energize the base to actually go vote. Considering how many liberals don't want to vote for Clinton this was a pretty good political move. Of course Tony probably knows that..good way to get dumb hicks who don't know shit about politics to spend time at your blog though.

Elizabeth Warren to succeed Hillary Clinton.

Pocahontas is a pejorative nickname given to Powhatan's daughter, not her real name.

It means "spoiled child", so it describes Donald Trump, not Elizabeth Warren.

  21. 6:44, I too wish Elizabeth Warren were running for President. Probably for a different reason than you.

  22. For all of you who hate government, hate regulation, hate everyone who isn't white, straight and religious, you've had six years of a Republican Congress. Despite that, 20 million more people now have health insurance, too-big-to-fail banks like Wells Fargo and Banksters of Amerika are being held accountable for abusive customer practices, our president has kept us out of new wars and tried valiantly to remove us from the previous two, the stock market is steadily climbing, the jobless rate is now lowered to around 5 percent and the middle class is finally beginning to enjoy the economic recovery, not just the top one percent. So, yeah, if we can change the people we are sending to Congress, I'm all for that. Maybe we'll get at least a hearing on a Supreme Court nominee, not more obstructionism by cartoon Senators from the Bigot Belt.

  29. Liz Warren is the worst the Democrats have to offer. Kander holding hands with her shows what kind of senator he will be. Nothing more than a Clinton puppet. Is that what Missouri needs?

    I think not.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Considering that Kander had no chance of winning rural conservatives in the first place, Warren is irrelevant.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The "Indian" Liz Warren definitely didn't help Kander.
