KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #69: ENGLEWOOD PARK FIGHT LEAVES ONE DEAD!!!

The quotient of local brutality is ramping up as we approach the weekend.

Here's the latest . . .

Fight leaves one man dead in Englewood Park
For the moment we're counting it because of gun play and the after hours scene of the brawl . . .

But remember that justified murders don't always count under new crime reporting standards that also don't include deadly police shootings.

Still, that's 69 murders for 2016 so far compared to 54 at this time last year AS THE 7-YEAR-MURDER-HIGH continues during the KANSAS CITY BLOODY SUMMER 2016.

  1. "At some point, a gun went off...." Now we have both self-driving autos and self-shooting guns!

  2. Q.: What in the almighty fuck is "justified murder"?

A.: A vibrant and creative new concept, from the intellectual powerhouse Missouri, the state that gave us "legitimate rape."

You people need to start getting more education from your schools and less sex from you relatives.

  6. The trolley is a nice tourist attraction that this city can't afford.

  7. Any tourist who would be "attracted" to travel to KC to ride amusement park rides will be going to Worlds of Fun.
The streetcar was never anything more than a fad sold to clueless electeds in KCMO and the rationales have changed from "transit", to economic development, to "not being left behind", to about anything else this crowd can come up with.
It is an unnecessary very large and ongoing expense desperately looking for some rationale and meeting no need whatsoever.
And the unintended consequences of undertaking and installing this fiasco have barely begun.
    All aboard!
