Walmart better get the lead out of its ass and compete online. I sure hope this helps finish of Sears/Kmart. Their stores look like ghetto shit.
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding people worth a crap to fill those positions.
ReplyDeleteMore corporate welfare from Kansas, the corporate welfare queen state. And they closed a fulfillment center not 2 years ago, also funded by taxpayer giveaways. To build a butler building in a cornfield. Johnson Clownty is a Ponzi scheme.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least they aren't selling newspapers.
ReplyDeleteLike Rex Sinquefield says, it's a free market economy, let it succeed or fail on its own.
ReplyDeletemight this be part of a plan to go into groceries?
ReplyDelete9:0,3 I think you're very correct with that line of thinking.
ReplyDeleteAren't they also getting into their own air shipping service? Land an Amazon cargo hub at KCI and you've paid for your new terminal, Sly.
ReplyDeleteThank god I wont have to keep popping Viagra waiting for my Chinese silicon sex toys to arrive.
ReplyDeleteI like my Amazon junk. Quite useful and no taxes, free shipping and no haggle returns. Life is good. Haven't seen the inside of a shopping mall in a very long time.
ReplyDeleteThere no such thing as a "free market" economy. Never has been in the history of human existence. It's a myth designed for keeping the rubes calm while the rich loot them.
ReplyDeleteI buy everything from Amazon.com and never set foot in local stores. Why deal with traffic, parking lot dents, gun-toting hillbilly customers, surly store clerks who don't know nuthin and the rest of it? Two clicks and it's on my doorstep in two days, and for less money. We live in one of the nation's major transport hubs ... just look at the map. Only thing I buy around here is food. I don't even buy bars of soap or shaving cream around here. Too damn many stores selling overpriced crap, and you have to drive at least 10 minutes to go to any of them. Doing what I can to clean up our blighted landscape.
ReplyDeleteSay bye to the no sales tax part. Every time the add a physical site in a state that charges sales tax, they have to charge, collect and remit sales tax to that state. Bummer.
