Tragic story reminds us that our homicide count could be related to the level of rampant poverty in the urban core. Here's a sad story and a link to a local crowdfunding effort: Grieving mother unable to pay for funeral after insurance policy expires

Life insurance...relatively inexpensive compared to air jordans, beyonce tickets and cell phones.
ReplyDeleteshe'd been paying it.read the story, dipshit
ReplyDeleteDear lady, your child will be buried. Just not where, & how you may have wished. One of the reasons I have asked to be cremated is because its significantly cheaper, & I don't want to burden my widow with an exorbitant, unnecessary expense.
ReplyDeleteYou burden us by incessantly clinging to life. Just let go.
Deletei agree Byron .nicely said. sad situation
ReplyDeleteCreamation is the way to go.
ReplyDeleteAgree. My first wife wanted to be cremated because she didn't want the rediculous cost of a funeral. Even while dying she was thinking of others.
ReplyDeleteRead the policy.
ReplyDeleteWhen your circumstances change, make changes in the policy.
Do not ignore the policy for 10 years. Take it out every year and read it. Update as needed.
Sorry about her situation but the insurance company is not to blame.
Correct^^^^
ReplyDeleteSounds like what she had was a death rider benefit and after kids get a certain age they have to get their own policy. It is about priorities and understanding your coverage.
I'm generally unsympathetic to these kinds of stories, but the premium should have been lowered when the son was no longer covered. If the company continued to charge her the premium for her son, even though they say he was no longer eligible for coverage, that is their fault and they need to pony up.
ReplyDeleteFucking coons think whitey is supposed to pay for everything. Bitch if you are going to breed yard apes quit thinking of it as a pay day and start engaging in responsible parenting. Fucking moocher.
ReplyDeleteHope she has to throw the kid in the trash.
ReplyDeletewhy do these people think if they need spend big bucks to bury someone they think it will get them to heaven faster. cremate him he will go to the same place and a whole lot cheaper. besides you can set him on the kitchen table and talk to him every day.
ReplyDeleteGod's not real. Neither is heaven or hell. Either way - buried or cremated, the same outcome applies. You will never see him again.
ReplyDeleteBut Global Warming's REAL isn't it @2:25PM??????
ReplyDeleteOk, this might not be a popular post. But when D'Adrian Bell died at the age of 26 he had five children. By the second or third child, shouldn't he have been thinking of getting his own insurance to protect his increasingly large family? His mother claims she hadn't looked at her policy in years and presumed he was still covered, but come on. Child four and five come into the world and you're not even that invested to pull out the policy?
ReplyDeleteYep its white privilege. Caucasians should have to pay for someone to come by your house and read all your documents, contracts and legal papers because you are too fucking stupid to grasp the notion that you might have some responsibilities. It's all white boys fault. They owe ya, right? A hundred and fifty years since slavery and 60 years since the civil rights act and you can't fucking read, right? Go get a fucking job and when you get money, instead of buying gin and dope, pay off a funeral.
ReplyDeleteEnd poverty in one lifetime! China is the way and the light. Abort! Sterilize babymomma, cut off the balls of dads owing child support!
ReplyDeletedirty breeding dog...throw he ass in de ol muddy! de snappin turtles wil tak kare of he ass!
