  2. Yep! True story. Almost every family wants to move to the urban fringe or suburbs of Kansas City. Nobody wants to live in the core. Crime, school options, corruption, water rates and a life of misery is what people hope to avoid.

  3. More garbage by the ignorant idiots in the local Real Estate racket.

  5. ^^^Real estate racket is when the City tells people their property values will increase because they built a unwildy police station with a gym and computer lab in it. It's also ametuer comedy.

  7. How many kids do you think qualify to go to Lincoln. Crack babies will need an alternative.

  8. Lincoln has over 800 students enrolled. 90% are minorities. i believe close to 95% succeed in college. Your pessimism is however appreciated and yes crack babies also do need our attention.

  9. For a bit more perspective you might also note that only 4 other Kansas City area High Schools ranked in the top 20. #6 Park Hill, #11 Park Hill South, #16 Lee's Summit, #17 Blue Springs. The other 15 top ranked Missouri schools were all in the St. Louis area. And, our KC ranks nationwide? -- Lincoln Prep #99, Park Hill #757, Park Hill South #1605, Lee's Summit #2112 and Blue Springs #2253. I guess this means that KC area realtors are the real idiots.

  10. Until the hoodrats are driven out, the urban core won't be on this list.

  11. Trust me. I've already begun driving them all in your direction.

  12. And none of these Zip codes has a streetcar. What's with that, trolley boy?

  13. Kansas City is simply a place where those of us in the burbs keep coons contained. They do slip out for the purposes of crime, shoplifting and finding new fat white chicks, but overall we keep most of them right there in KC where they can breed, thug around and kill each other. Now what is amazing is why there would even be a question as to why folks don’t want to invest their hard earned money in housing in that shit hole.

  14. Yet, somehow, real estate values are MUCH higher per square foot in the Rvier-to-75th street corridor than anywhere else in the metro...

Wonder why that is? Maybe it's because people are willing to pay MORE to live in the urban core?
