  2. Amazingly this $322M budget is only 100 million more than that of the entire City of Independence budget of $227M.
    You'd think the KCMOPSD would be in the top 5 'most livable" zip codes for that kind of money.
    I think it's actually in the bottom 10.

  4. @8:06 and Tony: They are spending less money than the year before and your still bitching. It says 227.5 M not 322 M.

    Moreover, the Eastern part of Independence(from Lees Summit Road I believe) is part of the Blue Springs district.
